August 4th 2009

Joe chose not come lifting on Tuesday. He had to get some much needed rest. Though Joe did decide to come to the food court after lifting. He saw tons of people there that he knew, and they were all of course very pleased to see him. After a good healthy lunch, Joe went back to a friends house to play some poker. Joe was a pro at poker, but chose to not let the others at the table know that. A little thing he likes to call "hustlin'". He was doing very well in the poker game, 2 other players had already been eliminated. He had us all where he wanted us, but then someone spoke up and said that they were bored and did not want to play anymore. Though Joe was on the verge of victory, he allowed the game to end without finishing the game of Texas hold 'em. After that event he went upstairs. The others in the room were trying to take Joe's phone so they could text people on it, Joe repelled them with superior strength and endurance. He then went to another friends house with the same people. He enjoyed a good game of hockey, and some pizza. He decided to then go home to visit his sick sister, who had a 101 degree fever yesterday. He comforted and waited on her for over an hour until she fell asleep. Shortly after, I came to Joseph's residence. He had quite the fire going when I arrived. We waited until that died down, and then embarked on a long journey to pay a visit to a friend. We got to the friends house, and found out that he was taking care of a neighbors dog while they were away. The dog had just been through a tough surgery. Being the animal lover that Joe is, he wanted to check up on the dog. Joe chose to show the dog some love and care. Watching this was a thing of beauty. He had to get home to continue to watch over his sister so he left.

JOE'S QUOTE OF THE DAY
While Joe was taking care of the dog he asked, "What time is it?" This question may seem simple to you, but it meant a lot more. He wanted give the dog and his sister as much love and care as possible. For this to happen he had to manage his time well.
